Uzbek boxer Samandar Jalolov defeated his opponent with a big score!

As is known, an international boxing tournament currently being held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is at the center of attention for world boxing fans. The tournament, which started on May 24, will continue until June 1 and features the most skilled boxers from around the world.

Today was also full of important and intense fights in the quarterfinal stage for our compatriots. Specifically, in the -80 kg weight category, our representative Samandar Jalolov faced a crucial match against his South Korean opponent Kim Minseong.

Even before the fight, hopes for Samandar’s victory were high. However, the opponent was also not one to give up easily, which indicated a heated and intense battle.

Nevertheless, from the very first minutes of the match, Samandar Jalolov took control and put his opponent in difficult situations. Our boxer landed precise, powerful, and effective punches, keeping the South Korean boxer under constant pressure. Minseong had no choice but to defend himself against Jalolov’s attacks.

The match lasted the full three rounds, and in all parts of the fight, our compatriot demonstrated his superiority. Jalolov’s high-level performance in each round clearly showed the judges his dominance. As a result, at the end of the match, the judges unanimously declared Samandar Jalolov the winner. Our representative won the fight with a 5:0 score and confidently advanced to the semifinals.

Thus, today’s success by Samandar Jalolov brought not only a personal victory but also an important result for the entire Uzbekistan national team. His brilliant win lifted the team’s morale even higher in the tournament.

Notably, today was generally excellent for our team. Out of 6 representatives who entered the ring, 5 won their quarterfinals and earned places in the semifinals. This is considered one of the significant achievements of Uzbek boxing.

The Uzbekistan national team’s success brings great joy and pride to the fans. The tournament continues, and now, only victories are expected from all our athletes who reached the semifinals.
