The international boxing tournament, which will be held in the Thai capital of Bangkok from May 24 to June 1, is entering its final phase. As part of today's semi-final matches, our country's representative in the 70 kg weight category, Muhammadazizbek Ismailov, took to the field and won an important victory for the next stage.
Ismailov fought against Kang Chia-Wei, who entered the ring on behalf of Chinese Taipei. Our boxer, who showed absolute superiority throughout three rounds, achieved a convincing victory with a score of 5:0. His accurate strikes, superiority in movement and mental preparation were highly appreciated by the judges.
Such a confident performance by Muhammadazizbek led him to the final, and through this he not only raised the honor of his personal life, but also of our national team. Now he will have to face an even stronger opponent in the final.
It is worth noting that several young and talented boxers from the Uzbek national team are participating in this tournament in Bangkok, most of whom have reached the finals or are continuing to fight for medals.
Another interesting clash is expected ahead - the match between Javakhir Abdurakhimov and Jordanian boxer Zaid Iashash. This match is also of particular interest to fans.
