Uzbek citizens may be denied entry to UAE before qualifier
Ahead of the World Cup qualifier between Uzbekistan and the UAE, Uzbek citizens have been advised to postpone trips to the Emirates, reported Nova24.uz.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relayed to the Tourism Committee, around 5,000 Uzbek fans are planning to travel for the match. However, per tournament regulations, only 960 guest seats (8% of capacity) are allocated.

The match will be held at Al Wahda FC’s stadium, which seats 12,000 spectators. A large number of visitors may be unable to enter, creating a risk to public safety and order.

UAE airport security has already begun implementing entry restrictions, and cases of deportation may occur.

Authorities recommend halting the promotion and organization of group tours to the UAE during the match period to avoid negative outcomes.
