Yamal equals Pele’s 66-year-old record
Spanish winger Lamine Yamal scored a double in the Nations League semifinal against France, helping “La Roja” secure a 5–4 win, reports euro-football.ru.

According to Stats Foot, the 17-year-old Spaniard became the first player since Pele to score three goals against France before turning 18. Yamal had scored another goal in the Euro 2024 semifinal, where Spain defeated France 2–1.

Pele achieved his hat trick against France in the 1958 World Cup semifinal at the age of 17.
