The CSKA Moscow club, where Abbosbek Fayzullayev plays, is in search of a new head coach. According to information circulating across various sources, the club management is considering the famous Italian specialist Fabio Cannavaro as the main candidate for the position.
According to football insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the 51-year-old coach’s candidacy has received special attention from the club’s president Yevgeny Giner personally. After the departure of head coach Marko Nikolić, CSKA has been left without a manager, and filling this position has become a pressing issue.
For reference, Fabio Cannavaro most recently worked at Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb club but left the post in April 2024. His coaching experience is quite extensive on the international level, including with Chinese clubs and national teams.
If CSKA’s management reaches an agreement with Cannavaro, Ballon d’Or winner Abbosbek Fayzullayev will have the opportunity to play under the guidance of a well-known specialist. This could mark a new stage in the development of the young Uzbek footballer.
