Cafu and Gattuso once played together for Milan. That’s why Cafu expressed warm thoughts about his Italian friend, calling him the most suitable candidate for the Italy national team:
“My close friend Gennaro Gattuso is the best choice for the Italy national team. He always kept his word, played on the field with his heart, and was passionate to the point of wildness.
