Uzbek Cup. “Shurtan” and “Bunyodkor” advance to the quarterfinals

The semi-final matches of the Uzbekistan Football Cup were held on Wednesday, June 18.

Two matches were scheduled for today. In particular, “Shurtan” hosted “Aral” in Guzar, while “Kokand-1912” played a match against “Bunyodkor” at home.

The match in Guzar was dominated by the hosts, and the result was consistent with this. In the first half, “Shurtan” took the lead by two goals. In the second half, three goals were scored, one of which was scored by the guests.

Thus, the Guzar team advanced to the quarter-finals.

This score remained until the end of the game. No goals were scored in extra time, and the winner was determined in a penalty shootout. The Tashkent team prevailed and qualified for the quarterfinals.
