At the Asian Fencing Championships in Bali, Indonesia, our athletes achieved another triumph. This time, our women's national team won a bronze medal in the sabre competition.
Our girls performed confidently throughout the competition. Having defeated such strong teams as Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong in the qualifying round, our team played a dramatic semi-final match with South Korea. Unfortunately, this match ended in favor of the opponents with a score of 42:45.
However, our female sabre fencers were not discouraged by this result. In the decisive match for the medal, they fought in a fighting spirit against their Chinese rivals and won with a score of 45:43. This victory demonstrated not only their physical but also their mental endurance.
As confirmation of their success in the competition, the team members received bronze medals and symbolic talismans at a special ceremony. The joyful looks and the images under the flag raised with pride confirm how hard our athletes worked.
