
One of the world’s all-time top goal scorers, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, has decided to stay in Saudi Arabia for a few more years. He signed a new two-year contract with Al-Nassr, and this deal has opened a new chapter in both his sporting and financial life.
According to analysis by The Sun, Ronaldo, who recently turned 40, could earn at least £492 million (approximately €575 million) during this new contract. This sum includes not only his basic salary, but also various bonuses and sponsorship agreements.
Ronaldo’s annual salary and bonuses
Al-Nassr has agreed to pay Ronaldo an annual salary of £178 million. In addition, he is set to receive £24.5 million in bonuses the first year and £38 million the second year. If the club wins the Saudi league, Ronaldo will get an extra £8 million bonus.
Furthermore, if he becomes the top scorer of the Saudi Pro League, he will receive a £4 million prize. On top of all this, Ronaldo is being offered a 15 percent shareholding valued at £33 million. Sponsorship deals with Saudi companies are expected to bring him another £60 million in income.

Throughout his time in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo enjoys top-level comfort. His personal staff includes 16 people: three drivers, two professional chefs, four domestic workers, three gardeners, and four bodyguards. These conditions in Riyadh give Ronaldo everything he needs to continue his career at the highest level.
