AC Milan has shown interest in signing Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca, Euro-football.ru reported.
The Rossoneri estimate the 26-year-old player’s transfer value at around €20–25 million (approximately 276–345 billion UZS). Milan’s management has expressed readiness to invest that amount in the forward.
Additionally, a loan deal with a purchase option is also being considered. Atalanta bought Scamacca from West Ham in the summer of 2023 for €28 million.
Last season, he appeared in just one Serie A match, largely due to recurring injuries. At the end of the season, Milan finished eighth in the Italian league, while Atalanta secured third place.
Milan is currently seeking to reinforce its squad with a new forward, and Scamacca is seen as a fitting candidate. Further updates on the player’s physical condition and injury history are awaited, as these could impact his future.
The club reportedly hopes that this transfer will help them achieve better results in the Italian league. Despite his age, Scamacca is an experienced player and could significantly strengthen Milan’s attacking line.
Official announcements regarding the transfer are expected in the coming days. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
