Preparations for the new European football season have entered an active phase — 21-year-old Uzbek forward Abbosbek Fayzullaev has also arrived at Moscow’s CSKA to join his club. Fayzullaev, one of the biggest “engines” of our national team’s qualification for the World Cup, rejoined “the Army Men” after a short vacation and now has the chance to demonstrate his skills again under new head coach Fabio Celestini.
It should be noted that CSKA currently has 14 foreign players from ten countries on its roster, with four of them being Brazilians. In defense, experienced Brazilians such as Moisés and Willian Rocha, along with young talents, are creating a modern team environment.
In videos released by CSKA’s press service, Abbosbek talked about his mood in the team: “We joke around with the Brazilians; everyone is proud of their own national team,” said Fayzullaev. “We’re looking forward to meeting each other at the World Cup. I told them: ‘Uzbekistan will win.’ They replied: ‘No, Brazil will win 5:0.’”
24-year-old Kellven, as well as Allerrandro and other Brazilians in the Moscow squad, have not yet fully shown themselves in Russia, but Fayzullaev, with his statistics, has already become one of the key figures for the “Army Men.” In one year, he has played 71 matches, scored 8 goals, and provided 22 assists, justifying the coaching staff’s trust.
As a key player for Uzbekistan’s national team, Abbosbek has also scored 8 goals in 27 matches and continues to pursue major goals in the new season. With new head coach Fabio Celestini at CSKA, our legionnaire is ready to meet fans’ expectations, whatever role he may be given.
Ahead of the new season, competition, mutual respect, and team spirit are considered crucial in CSKA. Abbosbek Fayzullaev is strengthening his position in this environment and fighting to become Moscow’s new star.
