In the Club World Cup quarterfinals, Paris’ PSG delighted their fans — Luis Enrique’s team claimed an important 2-0 victory over world giants Bayern. Both teams demonstrated their abilities in this encounter, but the Parisians succeeded.

In the first half, Bayern scored, but the goal was disallowed for offside. During this time, PSG’s goalkeeper Donnarumma made a very rough challenge on Musiala, and the German player left the match early with a serious injury. At the beginning of the second half, Bayern launched a strong attack, came close to scoring several times, but still couldn’t open the score.

In the 78th minute, Desire Doue’s goal gave PSG the advantage. Shortly after, PSG defender Pacho received a red card for a rough challenge, and his team was left one man down. The final minutes were again full of drama — Harry Kane’s goal was again ruled out for offside, and in added time Anthony Taylor showed a red card to Lucas Hernandez. Nevertheless, even with nine men, PSG finished a counter-attack successfully, with Ousmane Dembele scoring the second goal to seal the match.
