Will Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan jointly host the U-20 World Cup?
FIFA has started considering candidates to host the U-20 World Cup, which will take place in 2027.

In recent years, based on the football reforms carried out in Turkic-speaking countries, the created conditions, and international prestige, the football associations of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, confident in their ability to host the youth World Cup at a high level, have put forward a joint bid.

Today, together with Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan is also fully prepared to host this prestigious tournament. In recent years, stadiums have been brought up to international standards. Additionally, hosting the U-20 and U-23 tournaments in Asia and, for the first time in Central Asian history, the Futsal World Cup, served as great experience. This hosting was recognized by FIFA president Gianni Infantino as the best Mundial in history.
