"Shurtan" parted ways with four players in one day

Major changes have taken place at Guzor’s “Shurtan” football club. According to the club's press service, labor contracts with several players were officially terminated in a single day.

Specifically, it was announced that the club officially parted ways with forward Daler Sharipov, midfielders Murodkhuja Jabborov, Sirojiddin Qoziyev, and Shahboz Nuriddinov. This decision was made in agreement with the coaching staff and management.

Reportedly, Daler Sharipov played 15 matches this season, registering only one assist. Murodkhuja Jabborov appeared in 10 games but failed to achieve any notable results. His contribution is still under discussion.

The 28-year-old experienced midfielder Sirojiddin Qoziyev showed some activity by scoring three goals, but that wasn't enough to secure his place in the squad. Likewise, 24-year-old Shahboz Nuriddinov scored just one goal in 15 matches, making his on-field performance fall short of expectations.

Based on the internal situation of the club and the coaching staff’s decision, these changes aim to build a stronger and more competitive team for the second half of the season. The players will now be forced to look for new clubs.

The statistics show that the departing players had minimal impact on the team’s overall effectiveness. This may have led the Shurtan coaches to move toward renewal.
