42-year-old former Brazilian defender Dante is returning to FC Bayern as a coach. He will lead the Munich club's reserve team, which competes in the fourth division. This was reported by Goal.com xabar.

Dante stepped down as captain of the French club Nice in the summer due to health issues. He will now use his extensive experience to help develop the Bayern youth system.

The former footballer has been preparing for a coaching career for a long time. He obtained his UEFA Pro license last year and had been conducting training sessions with Nice's youth teams.

Dante achieved a treble with Bayern in 2013 and became a fan favorite. His former coach, Pep Guardiola, once stated that he wished he could clone Dante a thousand times for his team.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund is implementing a system to train former club players as coaches within the reserve team. Dante will become an important part of this project.
