Turkey’s leading club “Galatasaray” is in the decisive stage of negotiations with Italy’s “Napoli” regarding the full purchase of Victor Osimhen, reported insider Fabrizio Romano.
According to the source, both parties have reached an agreement on the main terms of the transfer. Osimhen, who spent last season at the Istanbul club on loan, solidified his leading role in the team’s attack. The Nigerian striker played 41 matches in all competitions last season, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists.
Such effectiveness convinced the Galatasaray management to allocate serious funds for the full transfer. Sources note that the deal value could be around 70 million euros.
Victor Osimhen’s stay in Istanbul and the completion of the full transfer will further strengthen Galatasaray’s championship ambitions for the new season and their objectives in European competitions.
