The leading club of our country, Pakhtakor, continues to strengthen its squad. According to official information released by the club’s press service, the experienced midfielder of the national team, Aziz Turgunboev, will now play under number 10 for the "Lions". The new contract is valid until the end of 2026.
Aziz Turgunboev had already played for Pakhtakor in 2021–2023, during which time he became the champion of Uzbekistan three times and scored 17 goals in 103 matches. The midfielder was one of the main players of the team, repeatedly appearing in important matches and earning the trust of fans throughout his career.
Turgunboev's return has brought great joy to the club's management and supporters. At the same time, he actively participated in helping the national team qualify for the World Cup. Another important aspect — Aziz joined as a free agent from the Turkish club Sivasspor and intends to achieve new successes with Pakhtakor.
