Recently, at the Open Karate Championship held in Texas, USA, the young and talented athlete from Uzbekistan, Shokhrukhbek Tursunmakhamatov, once again worthily defended the honor of our country. At the competition held from July 9 to 14, Shokhrukhbek won the gold medal in individual kumite bouts in the -75 kg weight category, defeating all his opponents.
In addition, our representative showed high skills in the team kumite bouts as well, once again climbing to the champion’s podium. This result confirms that in recent years he has gained valuable experience on the international stage and that his hard work has paid off.
