According to the information, the City leadership trusts the 21-year-old defender and intends to keep him in the first team for the 2025/26 season. This reinforces confidence in the club’s internal potential.
Recall that Abdukodir Khusanov joined Manchester City in January 2025 from French club Lens. He was purchased with high hopes and has shown his ability. In the current season, the defender made 10 official appearances for City and scored one goal.
Khusanov holds a long-term contract until 2029, indicating that the club sees him as an integral part of its future plans.
