One of the central matches of the 17th round of the Super League took place between “Mash’al” and “Dynamo”. In the tense battle held in Guzar, the team from Jizzakh managed to achieve a 2:4 victory. After the match, “Dynamo” head coach Vadim Abramov answered journalists’ questions.
The experienced coach, speaking about the match scenario, particularly emphasized his team’s character.
“At the beginning of the match, we conceded two goals. However, our team once again pulled itself together, equalized the score, and in the end secured a victory by scoring four goals. Being able to come back from such a situation is probably unique to us,” he said.
According to Abramov, in the previous round, the team was leading 2:0 but conceded two goals in a short time. This time it was the opposite — the team conceded first but found mental strength and ultimately turned the game in their favor.
Responding to a question about Mash’al’s sharp start, Abramov said: “To be honest, I didn’t expect it. Equalizing the score in the first half was very important; otherwise, the situation would have become even more difficult.”
The coach also added that during the previous training session, he had noticed that the players were mentally ready for a battle and had warned them to be alert, as the opponent would not be an easy one.
Regarding the goalkeeper, Abramov expressed criticism: “Today, our goalkeeper did not show confidence. That surprised me. Perhaps in the upcoming matches, we will try another candidate.”
When asked which team is the strongest in this year’s championship, the specialist did not rush with an answer: “The second round has just begun. Unexpected results are happening in every round. We could have lost today as well.”
In the upcoming rounds, “Dynamo” will face strong opponents like AGMK and “Pakhtakor”. Regarding this, Abramov stated: “For now, we are focused on the match against ‘Pakhtakor’. They played yesterday and will have more time to recover. After that, we will start preparing for the match against AGMK.”
From Abramov’s remarks, it is clear that he believes in his team and in each player. His words attracted great interest among football fans, and “Dynamo”’s upcoming performances will be followed even more closely.
