The captain of the Portugal national team and forward of the famous Saudi club Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo, on the eve of the new season, openly shared with fans and journalists the goals he has set for himself, the team’s plans, and his personal ambitions.
According to Cristiano, Al-Nassr carried out the preparation process for the new season at a very high level and in every respect flawlessly. In his opinion, maintaining stability and discipline throughout the season is one of the most important factors, which will allow the team to surpass strong opponents in the fight for trophies.
— The current state of our team makes me very happy. We have carried out very thorough and well-planned preparation. If we do not lose this strength and unity during the season, we certainly have the opportunity to win several trophies, — Ronaldo said with his characteristic confidence.
According to journalist Tancredi Palmeri, the 40-year-old footballer is currently earning about 263 million euros per year. This figure has firmly established him among the highest-paid footballers in the world.
Ronaldo has been playing for Al-Nassr since 2023. In the last season, he scored 25 goals and became the top scorer of the Saudi Arabian championship. In the summer, he extended his contract with the club for another two years and decided to defend the honor of the Riyadh team until June 30, 2027.
From this decision by Cristiano, it is clear that he does not intend to limit himself in Saudi Arabia to only showcasing his high-level game. He aims to set new records, win even more fans’ hearts, and leave his name in history once again with a bright mark.
