The press service of Turkey’s club “Istanbul Basaksehir” announced that it is facing a problem in transferring money to CSKA for the transfer of our legionnaire Abbosbek Fayzullayev. Let us recall that “Istanbul Basaksehir” announced at the end of July that it had signed a contract with Fayzullayev. The deal is designed for five years, and the media earlier reported that the amount of the deal amounted to 7 million euros.
There is also an answer to the question that is making many think. Question:
— Do I understand correctly that Fayzullayev cannot play for “Basaksehir” for now because the club has not yet paid CSKA?
Answer: “There is no problem related to payment for the transfer, but there is a problem related to the money transfer,” — “Match TV” quoted the words of an unnamed representative of the press service of “Istanbul Basaksehir”. That is, the club is ready to give the money, but due to obstacles on the transfer channel/clearing side the process has slowed down — it can be seen that the technical and regulatory stage line is lengthening.
In practice, in transfer deals such a chain works: the financial obligation is fulfilled → confirmations are given through electronic platforms → the application and registration (in the league) is determined → the footballer obtains the right to enter the field. Therefore, as soon as the money transfer issue is eliminated, the registration works will also be set in motion and the door to the debut in the new team will open.
At the same time, the “Basaksehir” staff continues to maintain the athlete’s tone, adaptation to the tactical environment and the embedding of positional tasks in the organized training sessions. For the coaches this is an opportunity — to explain the schemes to the player in depth, to harmonize him with the team rhythm.
For information, Fayzullayev had been playing for CSKA since August 2023. Abbosbek moved from “Pakhtakor” for 500 thousand euros, in the Moscow club he played a total of 72 matches, scored 8 goals and made 22 goal assists. These figures once again confirm that he is an executor who is creative in attack, makes quick decisions and can find the decisive pass.
The conclusion is clear: “there is no problem related to payment”, but “there is a problem related to the money transfer”. This is not engineering, but a bureaucratic-technical stage. With the disappearance of this obstacle a new page at “Istanbul Basaksehir” will open. From the fans the most necessary thing at the moment is a short period of patience: if the paperwork is untied, the answer on the field will not keep you waiting long.
