Therefore, the legend’s sincere “I wish (you) good luck” is not a simple phrase, but a sign of respect that has not lost its value even after years.
The veterans’ match is not only nostalgia, but also a kind of lesson for the new generation: rivalry on the field, and unity outside the field. In this sense, Dasayev’s words that “our friendly ties have been further strengthened” were accepted as the greatest achievement of this evening.
