Barcelona has signed 17-year-old Azerbaijani Ibrahim Babayev

The renowned Catalan club Barcelona has acquired a new talent. The team announced on its official website the signing of 17-year-old Azerbaijani midfielder Ibrahim Babayev.

The young footballer will now start playing for Barça's youth team. Until now, he played for the youth team of the Swiss club "Servette" as a member of the Azerbaijan U-17 national team.

Babayev's football career began in Geneva. Born and raised there, the talented footballer made 25 appearances for "Servette," scoring 5 goals. These results caught the attention of European scouts.
