Despite the closure of the summer transfer window in the leading European leagues, major clubs have already begun efforts for the next season. In particular, Barcelona, the Spanish champions, are preparing major transfer plans to strengthen their squad next summer.
Sources like Fichajes and El Nacional report that the Catalans targeted the two players as their primary target. One of them is 26-year-old defender Alessandro Bastoni, who plays for Inter Milan in Italy. The second is 25-year-old striker Julian Alvarez, who plays for Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona's management is prepared to allocate a total of €180 million for these two transfers. It is expected that 80 million of these funds will be spent on the import of Baston. The remaining 100 million will be used to acquire Alvarez, who plays for Real Madrid.
Officials believe that if these deals materialize, Flick's Barcelona could significantly strengthen both defense and attack. It's highly likely that the Catalan club will once again become the center of the transfer market next summer.
