Two more of our boxers were eliminated from the World Championship...

As you know, the World Boxing Championship for adults is currently taking place in Liverpool, England. Every minute around the ring is valuable for results: high tempo, high pressure, few mistakes.

Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov, who defends the honor of our country in the -55 kg category, competed against Tyda Joyse from Ireland. Despite the fact that our boxer was more active than the opponent in the match, which lasted 3 rounds, the judges declared the representative of Ireland the winner. In this clash, Mirzahalilov tried to take center, increase tempo, and increase combinations, but in the evaluation criteria, the high scores given to the opponent determined the final line. At such a time, experience, accurate shots at the end of the round, and conclusions in the clinches also become decisive factors.

Shavkatjon Boltayev, competing in the -70 kg category, also lost to Jordanian Zeyad Eashash by points in a 3-round fight. In the fight scenario, Boltayev sought the initiative through active pressing and distance reduction, while the opponent managed to score points with speed and light strides in counterattacks. The opponent's mixed style of work, timing, and counter-punches turned the score in their favor.

We remind you that a clash between our representative Javokhir Ummataliyev and Nurbek Oralbay (Kazakhstan) awaits us. Before this fight, the details of preparation - neutralizing the opponent's strengths, controlling tempo, and quickly transitioning from defense to attack - come to the forefront. As the competition continues consistently, a clear decision and discipline in each round can become a ticket to the next stage.
