As you know, the World Championship among adults is currently being held in Liverpool, England. In this prestigious competition, the best boxers in the world are entering the ring for victory.
Our compatriot Humorabonu Mamajonova, who is defending the honor of our Motherland, also tried her hand at these competitions. She entered the ring against an experienced Indian opponent, Jaismina, in the -57 kg weight category. Despite Mamajonova's agility and determination during the competition, her opponent prevailed. The match ended with a score of 0:5 by the judges.
As a result, Mamajonova finished the competition in the quarterfinals. This result of hers is still considered a great experience, because she managed to demonstrate competitive actions in such a prestigious competition as the World Championship. There is great confidence that Mamajonova will show even stronger results in the next major starts.
At the same time, our participation in the championship is not over. Now all eyes are on another of our compatriots - Navbahor Khamidova. She will take to the ring against Sacha Hickey, who will represent England. This match is also expected to arouse great interest among fans.
