It has been reported that one of England's leading clubs, Manchester City, is showing great interest in the talented midfielder Fermin Lopez, who plays for the renowned Spanish club Barcelona.
Sources indicate that the Citizens are considering the player as a potential replacement for Bernardo Silva, who could leave the team. At the same time, it is noted that the club's head coach, Josep Guardiola, also agreed to Lopez's transfer.
According to reports, Fermin Lopes currently has a contract with Barcelona that runs until the summer of 2029. Its market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at approximately 50 million euros.
The young midfielder has made 90 appearances for the Catalan club so far. In these games, he scored 19 goals and assisted his teammates with 11 assists.
If this transfer is successful, Manchester City will have a new strong midfielder. Fermin Lopez, in turn, could step onto one of the biggest stages in European football.
