The World Championship among adults, taking place in Liverpool, England, is gaining momentum every day. As part of the competition, seven of our boxers were scheduled to participate today, and one of them has already qualified for the final.
Our compatriot Javokhir Ummataliyev, competing in the -80 kg weight category, faced his Croatian opponent, Gabriel Veocic. In the first round of the bout, our boxer knocked down his opponent with a powerful blow. This advantage was maintained until the end, and the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the representative of Uzbekistan in the final decision.
Thus, Javokhir Ummataliyev successfully passed the difficult test and secured a ticket to the final stage. Preparation and confidence were evident in his every move, and the fans watched his fight with pride.
