The matches of the 21st round of the Uzbekistan Championship are becoming increasingly intense. Yesterday, the stadium in Kokand presented an interesting and full-dramatic clash to the fans. The "Qo'qon-1912" team hosted the "Qizilqum" club at their home ground and won a hard-fought match with a score of 2:1.
From the very first minutes of the match, both teams strived to score. The Qo'qon team opened the scoring - in the 16th minute, Datsi Keleydi accurately converted a penalty, putting his team ahead. However, Qizilqum quickly responded: Islom Kenjaboyev's goal in the 28th minute gave the visitors hope.
The first half was filled with equal competition. However, with the start of the second half, the home team gained the upper hand. In the 47th minute, Muhammadanas Hasanov scored a goal, bringing the score to 2:1. This goal decided the fate of the match.
By the end of the match, both teams made another attempt to score, but the defenders and goalkeepers made no mistake. Thus, the Kokand team delighted their fans with another important victory.
This result put an end to Qizilqum's unbeaten streak. The Navoi club last suffered a defeat on June 6, and a long time later, their series was stopped in Kokand.
