According to the press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, the Uzum National Digital Ecosystem, operating in our country, has initiated cooperation with the UFA to support the national team preparing for the World Cup and the development of football in general.
It is reported that with the direct support of Uzum, the association will further strengthen the sports infrastructure, expand the scope of various programs for young people, and most importantly, new opportunities will be created for the national team in the process of preparing for the 2026 World Cup. In addition, the national team players will participate in joint projects in cooperation with the UFA and the digital ecosystem, inspiring the younger generation through their personal example.
Currently, 14 regional associations operate within the UFA, and more than 12,000 children and adolescents regularly train in various teams. The national team has worthily defended the honor of our country at the Asian Cup, World Cup, and Olympic qualifying stages.
First Vice-President of the UFA Ravshan Irmatov assessed this cooperation as a new stage in the development of football in our country:
- Joint projects with Uzum are an important investment in the future of football. In the coming years, we intend to make a number of efforts in the field of national teams, children's and women's football," he said.
The founder and CEO of Uzum, Jasur Jumaev, also emphasized the importance of this cooperation:
"It is very important for us not only to support sports, but also to ensure that talented youth grow, and that existing champions have the necessary resources for new victories. Football unites people, instills confidence in their strength. "We are proud to contribute to the future of Uzbek sports in cooperation with the UFA," he said.
Rasuljon Gulyamov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Uzum Bank, added:
"Supporting football is an investment directed towards the future. By developing sports infrastructure and creating new opportunities for players and fans, we want football to become the daily life of millions of Uzbekistanis. I am confident that in cooperation with the association, we will lay the foundation for new victories and a bright sports history."
Thus, the new cooperation is expected to give a great impetus not only to the national team, but also to the comprehensive development of football throughout the country.
