The Uzbekistan Super League club "Andijan" has strengthened its ranks with an experienced foreign player. The team has signed an official contract with former Ukrainian national team midfielder Yevgeny Makarenko.
The 34-year-old footballer will have the opportunity to play for Andijan mainly in the Asian Champions League-2. Sports journalist Narzulla Saydullayev announced this on his Telegram channel.
This will be a new experience for Makarenko, as he had remained a free agent since January. However, in his time, he represented a number of major teams in Europe and Central Asia. In particular, his professional career began at Dynamo Kyiv. He later played for Belgian club Anderlecht, and then for Kazakh champions Ordabasy.
