Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta commented on his team's performance after the 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the 5th round of the Premier League. The Spanish specialist noted that his team dominated the match and is proud of it.
"Regardless of the result, I was very satisfied with my team's performance. We really prevailed in this game, and it deserves a reward. But at the same time, I am sad because we had to win. The goal scored in the end, of course, evokes many emotions, but my first and main thought is that the result should have been a victory for us," Arteta stated.
Following this draw, Arsenal sits in second place in the Premier League table with 10 points. Manchester City remains in 9th place with 7 points. Liverpool currently leads the league table with 15 points.
Arteta's team's dominance in this game, in general, demonstrates Arsenal's strength in achieving ambitious goals for the new season. According to him, although it is necessary to understand the result of the draw, victory is the most important thing for them.
