One of Uzbekistan's most respected football coaches, Sergey Arslonov, who worked as an assistant coach at Bunyodkor, has passed away at the age of 61. This was officially announced by the club's press service. In his football career, Sergey Ilyasovich Arslonov played for the Tajik "Pamir," Russian "Kuban," and Uzbek "Navbahor." During his coaching career, he worked for the clubs "Kyzylkum," "Dynamo," and "Bunyodkor." In 2008, he participated in the Asian Cup and the 2009 World Youth Championship with the Uzbekistan U19 team as an assistant to Ahmad Ubaydullayev. His successes have been a great source of inspiration for young footballers in Uzbekistan.

Despite medical examinations, Sergey Arslonov fell seriously ill three weeks ago and then, despite various treatments, passed away on September 22. The murabbiy's funeral was held today, September 23, at 12:30 p.m. at the Dombrabad cemetery.
