In Indonesia, a major sambo tournament for juniors and youth has reached its peak. At the end of the first day, the national team had 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. The second day was also productive: 4 more medals were added - 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze.
Thus, over two days, the team won a total of 10 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze. This statistic shows the training of young people, the potential of the reserve, and the planned work of the headquarters.
The list of winners has been updated as follows. Gold medal - 64 kg, youth: Ozodbek Atayev. Silver - 79 kg, juniors: Bilolbek Abdugapparov. Bronze - 65 kg, youth: Mashhura Ganieva; 88 kg, youth: Sanjar Oblakulov.
The results of the second day were especially memorable for the decisive moves in the final stage. The decisive episodes on Ataev's path to gold - not retreating, not letting go of the opponent, and accurately delivering the final blow - became an important emotional impetus for the entire team.
At the same time, competitions that reached the final but stopped just a step away from the top spot are also being analyzed. The headquarters is continuously working on reducing technical errors, increasing the speed of decision-making in situations of pressure on the back of the head, and further refining the scenarios for passing through the ground and standing position.
In the women's competition, Mashhura Ganieva's bronze medal is particularly noteworthy: she scored the necessary points by not beating the opponent's initiative and, in some situations, resorting to counter-attacks. In the youth category, Sanjar Oblakulov also showed character and rose to the pedestal.
The training camp has a work plan aimed at maintaining attire, weight control, scheduled recovery programs, and enthusiasm. The coaches noted that after each match, a short video analysis will be conducted, and strengths and strengths will be identified.
The competition will continue tomorrow. In the coming days, weight categories will expand, and competition will intensify. New trophies are expected from the national team - the main conditions for this will be the spirit of struggle, discipline, and working every minute.
Importantly, the two-day result showed one thing: there's preparation on the field, there's confidence in the stands. Now the task is to bring enthusiasm to the third day and further increase the number of medals.
