Kairat head coach Rafael Urazbakhtin expressed his position regarding the personal gifts given to the club's players. In his opinion, in team sports, it is not right to pay special attention to one player, even if there is help, it is better to direct it to everyone or the club infrastructure.
Earlier, it was reported that 18-year-old goalkeeper Sherkhan Kholmirza was gifted a car after the Champions League match against Real Madrid (0:5). Urazbakhtin said that such initiatives could not be prohibited, but he openly expressed his principled position.
"We cannot ban the gifts of entrepreneurs. But this is a team sport. I believe that giving a separate gift to one player is unfair. If they want to help, they should share it with the whole team or do something useful for the club - for example, buy a bus, minibus. "We are one team, and our policy consists of this," the expert said.
Urazbakhtin emphasizes that he cannot "lecture" to anyone, but separate divisions from the point of view of the internal environment and the focus of all his work on one goal can create unnecessary tension. "If you give something - give it to everyone or direct it to the club's discretion," he added.
The coach's statement, aimed at strengthening the principles of unity and equality within the club, is also being actively discussed by fans.
