Speaking about parenting, Shans said, "Being a father is the most responsible task in my life. This is the most difficult 'game,' but the greatest satisfaction is also here." According to him, after football, he wanted to take on more housework and was preparing to fully express himself as a father when the opportunity for Barca arose.

"To be honest, I didn't want to return. I planned to be close to my family. But my wife insisted - I still don't know if this was either a great opportunity for me or simply an 'expulsion' from home," the experienced kiper jokes. "In any case, he showed his will, and I am very grateful."
