On Tuesday, as a Bayern Munich player, he took part in the England national team's match against the Latvia national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round, contributing two goals to his team's 5-0 victory. According to Squawka, he became the top scorer for the England national team among players playing for foreign clubs — 18 goals.
The previous record belonged to Gary Lineker. He played for Barcelona from 1986 to 1989 and scored 17 goals. So far, Kane has scored 76 goals in 110 matches for the England national team. The 32-year-old player is still continuing his career at a high level and serves as a role model for young players.
