Vadim Abramov on “Dinamo” vs “Bukhara” (4:1): What did he say?

The festive spirit in Samarkand spread to the football field. “Dinamo” defeated “Bukhara” 4–1, turning the City Day celebration into a real joy for the fans.

After the match, head coach Vadim Abramov shared his thoughts at the press conference.

“We didn’t start badly, even had a chance to score first. We knew the opponent was dangerous on set pieces. This victory was very important — it’s Samarkand City Day, and we had to make our fans proud,” he said.

Abramov noted that despite the big score, the win was not easy:
“‘Bukhara’ is a physically strong team; they defended well. We strengthened our wings, scored a beautiful goal, and opened the game. The national team coach was in the stands — maybe that motivated the players.”

He also commented on several players:
“O‘rozov hasn’t played for a while, so he wasn’t at his best today. We expect more from him in upcoming matches.”

On Firdavs Abdurakhmonov:
“Firdavs is a product of Samarkand football. We really need such young talents. He’s also playing for the national team — that’s a source of pride.”

On Anvar Hojimirzayev:
“He’s been working hard for the team, but luck doesn’t always come. That’s part of football.”

On Marko Stanojevic:
“He’s an experienced player and scored a beautiful goal today. He continues to benefit the team.”

About Ulug‘bek Hoshimov:
“He was out for a long time with injury. He’s not in full shape yet, but he’ll definitely come back stronger.”

According to Abramov, “Dinamo” will prepare seriously for the next match in six days. For Samarkand fans, this win was not only about points but also a gift for their city’s celebration.
