Former defender of the German national team and Bayern Munich, Jerome Boateng, will not undergo an internship at the Munich club. The club's press service reported this.

The parties held negotiations and decided to cancel Boateng's internship at Bayern Munich. The footballer doesn't want the conflict surrounding him to harm the club, according to the German champion's statement.

As a reminder, Boateng played for the Munich club from 2011 to 2021. For the German national team, he made 76 appearances, scoring once.

In 2014, he won the World Cup with "Bundestim."
