Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi spoke with journalists after the away match against Lens in the ninth round of Ligue 1. The Provençals lost the match with a score of 1:2.
"The last two failures can be explained by Pavard's not very good efforts. He has been facing own goals lately. But Benjamin shouldn't lose his confidence because of this. He is an important player for our team.
He needs to stay calm and continue working on himself," the head coach said in an interview with Footmercato. De Zerbi's men managed to score 18 points after nine games.
The Provence team is currently in third place in the French league table.
