
The boxing competitions of the III Asian Youth Games, taking place in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, are nearing completion. The semi-final stage of the competition has concluded, and today became a historic day for the Uzbekistan national team - eight of our compatriots simultaneously qualified for the final.
In the men's competitions, the victories of five of our boxers were recorded. They secured a spot in the final and will represent the country in the decisive stage. Our girls also reached the final with high skill and dedication.
The list of Uzbek boxers participating in the final is as follows:
Guys:
- 46 kg: Abdugani Yorkinjonov
- 60 kg: Ibrahim Shokirjonov
- 66 kg: Saidkhuja Sadillakhujaev
- 75 kg: Diyorbek Murodilloyev
- +80 kg: Asadbek Sultanboyev
Girls:
- 54 kg: Qumriniso Muhammadova
- 60 kg: Rushanabonu Isoyeva
- 75 kg: Samira Turgunova
In addition, two female boxers also won bronze medals:
- 50 kg: Nazokat Mardonova
- 66 kg: Ulbosin Jalgasbayeva
During the competition, Uzbek boxers demonstrated dedication and a high level of preparedness. They surpassed their opponents not only in skill but also in mental stability.
Thus, in the final of the Asian Games, our national team faced strong opponents and had the opportunity to compete for several more gold medals.
The final matches will take place on October 30. Our fans expect our boxers to achieve new victories and raise the country's flag even higher in these competitions.
This success of the young boxers of Uzbekistan once again demonstrated their high potential and willpower in sports.
