Paris Saint-Germain's Portuguese midfielder Vitinha shared his memories about his first team, Porto. The player began his professional career at this club, making his debut for the main squad in 2020.
“At Porto, I received excellent training. Here, from my childhood, they taught me a certain way of thinking and discipline.
These rules accompany you even in professional football. Even when things didn’t go so well for me at Wolverhampton, these lessons stayed with me,” the player said in an interview with O Jogo.
“Porto is a very big club, but PSG gives you more opportunities to become Champions League winners and to be recognized internationally. I learned a lot here, which made me a stronger player and helped me show good performances in recent seasons.” The 25-year-old midfielder has played 12 matches this season as a defensive midfielder, scoring 2 goals, providing 6 assists, and has not received any yellow or red cards.
