Paul Merson: "Letting Jackson go was a mistake"

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson shared his thoughts about the attacking line of London club Chelsea. “I think the decision to let Nicolas Jackson go has ultimately led to negative consequences for Chelsea.

Mark Guiu was unable to perform his role in the match against Sunderland. Joao Pedro, meanwhile, has not had enough training due to injury,” Merson told Sky Sports.

The football expert believes that currently the positive opinions about Chelsea are not well-founded. After nine rounds of the Premier League, Chelsea are ninth in the league table with 14 points.

On November 1, Enzo Maresca’s team will play a derby against Tottenham. The match will start at 20:30 Moscow time.
