
The next meeting of the Uzbekistan Football Association’s Coaches Council was held. Issues related to the development of women's football in the country were discussed.
In particular, the implementation of the strategy planned for 2025-2029 is scheduled. Tasks were set to increase the number of tournaments among girls, strengthen the selection process by organizing international games and festivals.
This approach is aimed at ensuring the quality preparation of players for the youth women’s national teams. At the meeting, the leadership of the Uzbekistan Football Association reviewed reports on the work carried out by the coaches, the results of training camps, and preparation plans for upcoming tournaments.
The discussions were held in a critical spirit. It was emphasized that coaches in each age category should actively use modern technologies, and that analysts, scouts, and highly qualified physical preparation specialists must work consistently in the coaching staff.
Instructions were issued to further improve the direction of coach training. The youth national teams aim to participate annually in the Asian Cup and the World Cup.
In order to achieve high results at these tournaments and to repeat or improve on previous successes, strong coaches are needed in physical preparation, scientific analysis, and tactical directions. In particular, at this age, it is important to study and analyze the development of players with a scientific-analytical approach, said Ravshan Ermatov.
In addition, the training activities of the head coaches of the U-15, U-16, U-18, and U-23 national teams were analyzed. Instructions were given to strengthen the player selection process and comprehensively improve their physical, technical, and tactical preparation.
