Italy's sports minister Andrea Abodi shared his views regarding the idea of holding the Serie A match between "Milan" and "Como" in Australia. This was reported by Football Italia.
"Everyone has their own opinion. I think the league management made their decision based on the current situation.
We should also look for the positive sides. Undoubtedly, this is a certain disrespect towards their own fans, because the teams should play in their own stadiums," said Abodi.
This match is scheduled to take place on February 8, but the "San Siro" stadium will not be available as preparations are underway for the Winter Olympics opening ceremony. Although UEFA and the Australian Football Federation have agreed to hold the game in Perth, the Asian Football Confederation and FIFA have yet to approve this idea.
