In the 4th round of the Elite Asian Champions League, Nasaf will play their next crucial match at home against the strong UAE club Al Wahda. On the eve of this match, a press conference was held with the participation of the head coach of the Karshi club, Ro'ziqul Berdiyev, and the forward, Husayn Norchayev, the club's press service reported.
Berdiyev emphasized that a very difficult opponent awaits Nasaf. "Every game in the Elite League is tough, but Al Wahda has a unique squad today and is practically undefeated this season. They are well-formed, the game style is stable. We conducted a sufficient analysis of the opponent and conveyed the necessary information to the guys. At that time, we reached the Champions Cup semi-finals. This was also an important page in the history of "Nasaf." Now it's a different time, and the opponents have become much stronger."
According to him, the achievements of "Nasaf" in those years were not due to great financial opportunities, but to team enthusiasm and discipline. "Even then, we had experienced players. Now, however, Arab clubs are investing heavily in foreign players. This influenced their growth. But we also have the potential, we just need confidence and action," he said.

Berdiyev said: "This is the second season, we are in such a situation. Currently, we're focusing more on the Super League, but the Elite League also has a chance. It's difficult to compete against Arab teams, but our goal is to reach the next stage."
Speaking about Al Wahda's superiority in possession as a strength, the coach commented: "The opponent is technically mature. We will act taking this into account. Over the past two days, we have focused more on physical recovery. Tomorrow, not a meaningful game, but the result will be important. We will use all our strength on the field for this result."
