The new head coach of Turin's "Juventus" team, Luciano Spalletti, said that the team can compete to win the Italian championship. Former coach of "Zenit," "Napoli," and the Italian national team, Spalletti has replaced Igor Tudor at "Juventus."
"I said we must fight for the Scudetto, but that doesn't mean we must win it. As long as we still have mathematical chances, we need to strive for anything, including the Champions League," the club's press service quoted the specialist as saying.
According to him, he liked the way the team played against "Cremonese," but he had no contribution to that victory. After 10 rounds, "Juventus" sits in sixth place in the standings with 18 points and is four points behind the leader, "Napoli."
