An unexpected tragedy occurred during a football match in Serbia, reported zamon.uz.
During the 14th round match of the Super League between “Mladost Lucani” and “Radnicki 1923”, the head coach of the Kragujevac club, Bosnian specialist Mladen Žižović, passed away.
The incident happened in the 22nd minute of the first half when “Radnicki” was leading 2–0. The coach felt unwell on the sideline and lost consciousness.
Medical staff immediately provided assistance, but all efforts were unsuccessful. On the way to the hospital, Žižović’s life could not be saved.
According to eyewitnesses, the coach collapsed to the ground in a critical condition and was found barely breathing.
Preliminary information suggests that the deceased may have had health problems related to the heart. The official cause has not yet been announced.
News of Žižović’s death was delivered to the stadium during the match, causing a deep emotional shock to the players and coaching staff.
