On Tuesday of this year, PSG winger Dezire Due claimed the "Golden Boy" award, earning the title of the year's best young footballer. The Tuttosport publication, on the other hand, awarded the title of Footballer of the Year to the late Diogo Jota.
The Portuguese footballer died in a road accident together with his brother in July 2025. Last season, Diogo Jota made a significant contribution to making Liverpool the champions of England.
He also helped the Portugal national team win the Nations League trophy. The late Jota was only 28 years old.
